Considering the characteristics of the climate, the house has been organized based on courtyards that allow to illuminate and ventilate the interior optimally. As a result, all the rooms can have their openings facing north and south. The energy saving, as well, is remarkable.
But the designed courtyards have other equally important roles:
- to give a sensation of more space to the interior of the housing
- to provide fluidity in the tours
- to allow more privacy regarding the outside of the housing
- to help organizing various areas independently. In this case, we have defined a public area around the main courtyard (access courtyard) and a private area around the small courtyard (area of secondary bedrooms).
